Well yes you can, just make sure you get one of the larger size cages you can because toucans need more space than parots do. They can't climb as Im sure you already know, they hop from branch to branch or in this case from perch to perch. As far as the relationship goes, Toucans can have as strong of a relationship with man or even in some cases stronger ones. Of course it depends on the personality of the toucan and also if he was captive bread or not. I'm not sure if they are as clever as parots are. In my experience, they certainly aren't less clever. Parrots can learn to open their own cage doors sometimes, toucans in my opinion can learn the same thing, but because of the way their beaks are, I dont think they can. But in my opinion toucans are as great as parrots are. I hope this helps.

Can the Tucans be used to the trestle and the relationship with the man as the parrots? Are they as clever as the parrots? thanks end excuse for my english!
