i own a 6 month old female crimson...she needs to be worked with every day..make sure wings are cut and they will behave better...they are very curious and need constant stimulation so it's a good idea to feed them a variety of fruits and veggies so they don't get bored..i also have about 10 different toys that i rotate...they love to have a project of taking something apart or chewing on something... thin leather rope is pretty inexpensive and when i attach some kind of wooden bead with a couple of knots she's busy for hours. she has learned about 5 different whistles and has even started to talk...she's also pretty fiesty and if i have left her in her cage all day without handling her she is pretty aggressive..this is my second rosella so i'm pretty happy with this breed... |
