Hi there-
I'm new here, and noticed this forum. I have a strange couple here. The male is a Eastern Rosella, and the female is a Red Rumped Parakeet. They have produced 3 living offspring so far, but the in - the - shell mortality rate is high.
The guy in the picture looks a bit scruffy after a messy hand feeding. Don't mind the Great Dane snout in the picture too!
These two were originally in their respective same species pairs in a large exercise flight. There they met, fell in love, and took over a nest box. We've let them stay as a pair for about a year now, and they are both extremely happy.
