Posted by Ffiona Beverley on November 12, 2001 at 22:37:31: We have a hybrid rosella. One of the yellow ones and I think she is a cross with a quarian. Anyway we have her in a cage with a male red Rosella and they seem to be getting on well. However she has laid twice - 1 egg the first time, and 5 this time but none hatched. I have been told by a friend that hybrids are infertile - particularly the females. Is this the case? Also the male red Rosella has lost all his feathers off his chest and I don't know what to do about it. Can somebody help me. |
