Is this a joke?Sorry to sound mean, but from what you want a bird to be there is no such thing. All birds will end up biting you every now and then, even little parakeets. As for training I don't think really any bird is all that hard to train. You just have to keep on the training and not give up.Not a single bird is guarrentied to talk either. There are certain breeds that have a better talking record than others.Bird are a BIG responsability.BIG.they are very sensitive mentally and physically.I don't think a lot of people realise this.If I were you I would buy a good book on bird behavoir and read this to be sure that you still want a bird.Again sorry to be mean, but you be ashamed of yourself if this is not a joke and you were really harrassing the poor animal.Thats the reason why a bird can sometimes get a bad rap. When people like you make a bird unstable......they can develope unwanted habits like biting, screaming and feather picking!
my family has been taking care of this senagal parrot for three years now, it comes and stays with us for about two weeks every year. Every year except this one I have harassed it and been mean to it, but this year I am the only one in my house of four who takes intrest in it, I can hold it and pet it and talk with it and it seems to like me back. I love it,it is so cool. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what type of bird to buy, I want a bird that is fairly easy to train and get along with, that speeks or imitates, doesn't bite, and is cudddly and not to much trouble. I don't know if this is impossible but I was just wondering if anyone had any input. Thanks!!
