I am a new Meyers owner and very happy with the little birdy. He is happy and has bonded to both my husband and myself and is quite comfortable when visitors come over, even after only being here for 10 days he was happily going from person to person when we had three friends in for dinner.
We keep telling him Meyers are supposed to be quiet :-) He is actually not loud, but does get exuberant a couple times a day when playing with his "enemy" toy. He loves music and happily sings along, but compared to other birds I know he actually is quiet.

:I am looking for a very sweet, gentle, docile bird as a family pet. And one that has the ability to speak.
