This is always a hard one to answer, since we can't come over to your house and see what's happening! Birds scream for a variety of reasons. They may be sick, want attention, want food, they see something that upsets them...there are so many different things! Look around your bird's environment from his point of view. I also strongly suggest a well written bird behaviour book (I recommend Companion Parrot Behavior, Why does my bird do that?, etc) if none of these books help (you have to give it time, also) I would try to find a bird behaviourist in your area. **warning, personal advice here** I would keep the bird and get rid of the husband if nothing works ;)
