I can't answer with you second question, but I can say that I did alot of research into the poicephalus family. I had fallen in love with a senegal baby, but wanted something with a little better talking ability. I discovered the Jardine's Parrot and haven't had one regret. She is quiet and sweet, but has the talking ability close to the African Grey. Good luck!
