I just purchased a Myers parrot 3 days ago. I paid 450.00 for him in Buelton Ca. When I went to the pet shop to see him, the employee got him out for me and he immediately fluttered off of her and on to me and began giving me kisses all over my face. I fell in love with him and brought him home along with a California cage and some toys. He loves to be with me and will hop off of his cage and onto my shoulder when I come over to him. I named him Oscar. (get it, Oscar meyers) :0). I have just fallen in love with him. He is 5 months old and was hand fed and has a wonderful temperment. He loves to cuddle under my neck and loves to be petted. I could not ask for a better bird. I have had several, but none like Oscar. :0) Good luck and if you really want the bird, buy it, you won't be sorry.:0)
