I have never heard of a senegal doing night trashing.I know that it's common in cockatiels.I would think that he/she is just having a nightmare.Something else to check too is did you put anything new in the cage the day before?My bird flipped when I put one of those toy juteboxes in the cage.He was fine until the thing went off.I wouldn't worry too much if it doesn't happen again.
