try chick starter crumbs : I RAISE RING NECK PHESANTS I GET THEM WHEN THEY ARE A FEW DAYS OLD! WHAT I FEED THEM IS TURKEY STARTER AS THEY GET OLDER THEN THEY GET PUT ON TURKEY GROWER!! HOPE THIS HELPS!!: For variuous reasons too complex to explain we have recently had a golden phesant chick hatch out at home. The main problem is tring to persuade then to eat... anything. The reamining one is taking water from a dropper and will also take a little milk or boiled egg. Is there anything that I can feed "him" that is more appropropriate? My not unreasonable knowledge of biology tells me that the yolk contained in "him" will run out shortly and that the stomach may not have the correct enzymes to cope with some foods. Any suggestions?? Thanx
