i have a male quail,which was attacked by the female.she attacked hi8s head and plucked al;l the feathers out and started to peck away the skin from his head.i want to know if i should swab his head with a cotton bud,dipped in warm salty water,his eyes have been closed but one is open today.the other is shut and hard to find.he is eating and drinking ,so i think he'll be ok.is the swab a good idea or should i leave him alone to recover???? |
