my husband and I have successfully hatched allmost half of our ringneck phesants (our first time) and one of the chicks is black with white tipped wings... while all the others are brown with black skunk stripes down both sides. Is this how you tell which is male or female? As I said we're new to this! any info would be totally appreciated! Thanks!
