My mum is thinking of buying some peacocks for a small property in South Australia and she's having trouble finding any info on how to care for them. She asked me to see what I could find out. I realise nobody's going to want to write me a book on the subject so are there any good peacock sites I could try for some info? I basically just want to know how to care for them, anything you need to watch out for as in diseases and mites and stuff, what climate they are best suited to. And If I get really lucky I'd appreciate some advice on how much they should cost (AUSTRALIAN dollars) and where would be a good place to get them. Is it like getting a dog how you need to get it from a good breeder so that they dont dovelope serious health problems? Sorry, I'm not being very specific am I, but you get the picture.

Forgive me if this info is all here somewhere already, I'm having trouble navigating.
