peacock who has stopped eating

Our local peacock is slowly starving to death because, within the last 4 days, when he pecks at food, his peck is about an inch short of the food. While he sees it, hisdepth perception seems off. I realize glasses are out of the question, but does anyone know of a solution? He is becomming progressively weaker, so prompt replys would be appreciated.
