has anything in his 'world' changed? new cage? new room? new animals? new food? does he have any preening toys? chew toys? does he get attention? spend some extra quality time with him and make sure he doesn't start picking at the flesh... there can be many things causing his plucking. stress, boredom, thyroid disorders, lack of uvb (i put my birds outside when it's nice and use florescent strip lights above their cage with a good uvb output.), many things can cause this, if he has plenty of toys, attention, and nothing stressful in his life, then bring him to a vet asap to be checked for thyroid disorders and other disease
:My Parrotlet started to pick out his feathers the other day. Why would he do this, he has almost pulled out all his feathers. Any advice is appreciated.
