:Has anyone had success "forcing" two birds to get along? I'm thinking of buying a separate, larger cage and keeping them both in it, but I'm afraid I'll just wind up with two unhappy birds. I'm also thinking of boarding Pipsqueak out for the first three months after the baby comes so he won't drive me nuts. Any ideas?
There is no way, that I know of, to force two birds to like each other without bloodshed or other bad reaction. But, when the baby comes (congrats), they may just become more friendly on their own, sensing a change in the family (flock).
It is never a good idea to house different species together in the same cage, particularly when they are not very friendly to begin with.
