Please help! I have a 7 wks old male Pacific. I've taught him to step up and for the most part is responsive to my command. However, he tends to take an "aggressive" pose and snaps at my finger as I approach him in the cage. Or else, he runs a way and hide in a corner. I am careful to move my hand slowly and from his sides. The literature says that I should not withdraw my finger when he tries to bite. However, the pain from initial bitings were excrutiating and I am conditioned to jerk my finger back when he snaps. I tried leather gloves but he's too smart for that trick and only bites when my finger is bare. I've also tried the step up command when he starts to bite, but find it ineffective. Nhoc is a great kid, and I enjoy playing with him so much when he is not biting. Please share your experience with this problem. thanks- LTN
