First, I want to thank y'all for the great replies to my questions on parrotlet training. Now I was wondering about parrotlet diet. I have tried to give my parrotlet all kinds of fruits and vegetables including mustard greens, alfalfa sprouts, mango, oranges, jalepenos, bell peppers, corn, carrots, grapes, etc. He will not touch a single piece of any of this. I also tried to make a cooked rice/vegetable recipe I found on the internet for parrotlets that he did not touch either. I have sprouted different types of seed out of his seed mix, and he seems to like the sprouted seeds a lot. I also will hang millet sprays in his cage and he LOVES these. I was wondering if this is enough nutrition for him, or do I have to force him to eat fruits and veggies? I don't want to starve him into eating that stuff. By the way, he is a male pacific. Young, but not sure exactly how old, and he was hand fed.
