Parrotlets are nippy, some more than others, but, hey! they're little, they gotta do SOMETHING to let you know they're tough! LOL, feisty little boogers. I just love that attitude. They do tend to calm down with training and 'maturity'. Mine are 2 and a half now, still somewhat nippy, but not as much, and usually, it's my fault. If I let them know first that I'm gonna get them, I don't have as much of a problem. Approach them head on, not from the side or above. That seems to help.
