Hi, and YES! parrotlets make WONDERFUL pets. Do you have any other pets? They are relatively quiet and very interactive. Just make sure you do lots of research first, visit some web sites (I suggested a couple below and there are many other great resources). Educate yourself on the needs and dangers regarding your bird. They are small, but make sure they have room to play and climb around in in their cage. They are VERY active little birds, they love to climb. They also love things to snuggle with and against, especially when they sleep. They are nippy, but you can learn to control this, they are extremely smart. Look around for a breeder that has handfed, well-socialized birds. I'd suggest visiting a breeder and interacting with some before making your choice. Good luck and let us know what you decide. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask :)
