::Please help... I have a pair of Indian Ringneck Parakeets. I bought the female from a guy who raised her up from a baby so she is quite imprinted on human males. I want her to breed to my male who seems to be a little more interested, but she wants nothing to do with him. Everytime he gets near her she tries to bite him. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get her interested. Like providing a nest box before hand or anything like that? Please let me know!
::Thanks,
::Brad

:How long have these birds been together? Have you given them ample time (meaning months or longer) to get used to each other? Are they both in absolutely perfect health?

:Also, just because you have a male and female that does not mean they will bond with each other and mate.

I have had them for over a year. But they are caged separately. I think I need somewhere where they can both roam freely in the same room. What do you think?

Brad
