:Please help... I have a pair of Indian Ringneck Parakeets. I bought the female from a guy who raised her up from a baby so she is quite imprinted on human males. I want her to breed to my male who seems to be a little more interested, but she wants nothing to do with him. Everytime he gets near her she tries to bite him. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get her interested. Like providing a nest box before hand or anything like that? Please let me know!
:Thanks,

How long have these birds been together? Have you given them ample time (meaning months or longer) to get used to each other? Are they both in absolutely perfect health?
Also, just because you have a male and female that does not mean they will bond with each other and mate.
