Hi everyone!
I need some opinions, please.
I just bought a new cage for my ringneck, winslow. The cage is huge-
the bar spacing is still 3/4 which is what his old cage was, but he
went from a cockatiel motel to a cage that is 26X26X34. He looks lost
in it, which is good-he needed the space. His tail no longer sticks
through the bars, thats for sure!
WEll, my tiel got his old cage, but I am now thinking of putting them
toether. They hang out together a lot and are fine otgether- they
will pull each other's tails once in awhile, but overall, they get along fine and the cage has plenty of room.
Do any of you think it would be bd to keep them together? I am just starting to think about it now, and may not be thinking of
everything. They would both have to give up their "private space", but my gosh, this cage is huge- I even had to go and get smaller dishes because I feared my ringneck would drown in the water cup provided! Also, my birds have been right next to each other for about 4 years and often go in one or the other cage together, (they hack at each other on occasion but never bite-usually they just sit togther)
If anyone has ever transitioned from two cages to one big one, please
let me know.
Thanks!
