The problem in my country is that a vet specialising in avian care is very.Vets are mostly into treating animals and though you could find a vet that could help you breed wildboars i's very diffult to find vets who specialise in avian care.There are no local breeders of birds and most of the birds in the market are wild caught or imported.there are no books on breeding love-birds avaiable in the local market and importing books from abroad becomes too expensive.I am trying to breed some birds so as to hopefully try and persuade others to do so as i believe that if birds are breed by people who have read and learnt breeding people who want birds as pets would opt for a breed bird rather then a wild caught one.Wild ringneck parrots are so commmon that sometimes you finds over a hundred of them in a single tree.I do take my birds to a local vet and thankfully she is very good at handling birds and has saved a couple of my birds when they fell sick. SO my request is if anyone has old books or old notes or used breeding equipment that they could send to me i would be highly obliged.I plan to breed alexandrines,finches,african lovedbirds(mainly peachfaced),indian ringnecks,moustached parrakets etc. Anybody willing to help me out please mail me at rahul2000@mail.com
