Yeah, yeah, I know. Crows aren't mynahs, but both corvids, so this is where I figured I should post this message.
As the only wildlife rehabilitator in my area, I am very accustomed to working with injured birds. However, I have no experience with crows. Usually, no one brings me anything but songbird species.
This American crow was shot in the left wing with a pellet gun. The vet said that the crow's wing will heal, but not to the point that it can fly again. This is a very hard situation. This crow is obviously going to be with me for the rest of its life, but I am told that adult crows are hard to tame. I do wildlife education shows in schools, and I was hoping that someone could tell me how I could tame this crow enough that I could use it as part of the show. Any help or suggestions will be aprecciated.
