Hi Connie,
I don't have a red-fronted macaw but I have observed a few. The ones I saw seemed to have a similar personality to my military macaw in a slightly smaller package--very energetic, excitable birds with a mischievous streak, but also very loving at times. If you like the macaw personality and can find a quality breeder, I think a red-fronted is a good choice.
