Macaws are scary looking birds. I've seen a few at a local petstore and they look really scary. Every little move this one I was looking at made I jumped. Are they safe to have as pets? I have teeny little fingers and they get bit a lot just by my cockatiel if one of those ever bit me I'd probably have no finger left. Some can be really cute and really really talkative just they scare the crap out of me.
