:My friend's lovebirds (I believe they are peach faced) laid five eggs and now have hatched out five babies. She asked if I wanted a pair since I have experience with other birds (I currently own a conure and have had budgies in the past). I have also researched lovebirds since I was considering getting a pair but got my conure instead. So here is my question, can some of you post pics of what your cages look like??? There are many nice cages out there and I want to get one that is roomy, and easy to access (take the birds out, clean, etc). Thanks very much!
:
I don't currently have any pictures of the lovie cage (I have a single lovie), but for general purposes, I recommend no smaller than 24" cubed for a single lovie. Obvioulsy you'll want a larger cage than that to house a pair.

My personal preference in cages for the smaller birds are the Hoei cages. They are the easiest to clean, I have found, and the easiest to rearrange perches and toys -- the whole front of the cage can be opened as well as having doors for dishes and a smaller entrance/exit.

I'd be interested in hearing other member's recommendations/experiences

Budgie
