They usually mate at very early morning, and then again after their afternoon nap at 2pm. It is usually on the perch. You'll eventually catch them. The female's rear will swell for about two weeks prior to laying an egg which indicates breeding activity.
I am not sure if the female fischer will feed a male or not. I have limited experience with that subspecies. Your best bet is to wait it out. A true pair will eventually give you babies. She should be building a nest, by taking strips of newspaper or other material and lining the nest box.

::This is absolutely normal. Female peachface lovebirds do all the incubating of their eggs themselves. If they weren't so mean, they would literally be a sitting duck on that nest, so to speak. Lovebird pairs argue all the time. Trust me, if they were going to hurt each other, there would be such things as missing bloody toes, bloody ceres, or a dead bird in the cage. They are fine. The key is the fact that they settle down and cuddle together. If they are a true pair, and it sounds like they are, they will nest in due time. In time you have whole bunches of the aggressive little buggers.
