Do you have any idea why the other one died? Do you have any other birds? No, you don't breed 2 different types of lovebirds together. Like Mike said, get another peachface but observe them closely before putting them together. You should also quarantine a new bird that you're introducing to your household. This is usually for over a month. I'm a little confused about why you don't think you could take the time to time your bird. Is it used to being handled? Are the wings clipped? Is he/she making a lot of noise calling for his/her mate? They can be very loud, lol, I KNOW that. Getting another sounds like it would probably be the best idea, just don't set them up to breed, no box or places they could "hide" to breed. Breeding would take MUCH more time than taming would. Lots of time, research, dedication and money needed to be a breeder.
VERY important what Mike said about the neutral cage too. Make sure it's one neither have been in before. Lovebirds can be very aggressive and will fight to defend their home. You don't want anyone hurt.
