It will take approximately 3 weeks for lovebirds to bond again. Make sure the original two cannot see and preferably cannot hear each other. Watch for aggression. Keep the pairs separate, until they bond. Once paired they can be put into a large aviary together, although breeding results will be diminished.

:I believe I have two females as they are three years old and have infertile eggs. I have bought two males( I hope) and have put one with each of the others one pair in the aviary and one pair in a cage. Neither pair seem very friendly. If I put them all together in the aviary will the two original pair exclude the two new ones or should I leave them apart for more a specified time? Thanks.J.
