You can take it to the vet and they will clip it down a little for you. I am leary of telling someone how to clip beaks as if you do it wrong, it could inhibit the bird's abilitiy to eat and also there is a vein that runs through it and if you cut this it could be bad.

You could also try a nail file if your bird will stand for it.

: I have a rainbow lorie who is a year old. His beak is way too long. How do I get it back to the size it should be? He won't chew on a cuttle bone or a mineral block. Thanks for any help.
