I found her dead when I got home from work today. Two days ago the vet did the blood draw for a pre-surgical screening. She was still acting pretty normal, eating, etc. I don't know if the "thing" finally got her, or if it was delayed stress from the blood draw, or something entirely different.
Her mate was calling for her after I removed her body from the cage. So now he's on my shoulder. He's still got my other tiel, Tiny Tim, and my budgie, Blueberry, for company so I hope he will adjust ok.
