I have a two and a half year old african grey who is the greatest animal I have ever purchased. Over the last month or so though, I thought he was molting, however, his feathers look all straggly and he is pulling out a lot of down feathers (They are all over my house). I feed him pellets and a little bit of seed, but also veggies, bananas, and apples. Is this normal for this to be happening? It has been at least a month he has looked like this. Any info would be helpful! Thanks...
