Congratulations on your new Grey! While getting a baby bird might have been easier, I think you are going to have a wonderful sense of satisfaction when this little guy accepts you and becomes part of your life. There are many good books out there on how to work with birds and take care of them. I think it is important to buy one or more of these books and keep them around to reference -- there are things you should do for them that would never occur to you. I think the key to having him come around is patience.

My Grey bonded with me early and took a very long time to connect with my husband. But my husband kept at it and they get along great now. Keep us posted on your progress.
