Hi!
Just joined the board. Glad to have found it!

I took my ringneck, winslow, and my grey, casper for checkups last week. They had bloodwork done. The bloodwork showed that winslow has a touch of low protein, and casper has a touch of low iron.

For the iron, I've been giving greens. But, I am not sure what to do about the protein. the dr said it is a really small deficiency, but I would like to get it up to normal. I have no idea what foods would help. Unlike my grey, he doesn't like any kind of meat, and I think peanut butter would be too high in fat.

Does anyone know what I can feed him in addition to his pelleted diet, that would allow him more protein? His diet is about 90% pellets, 5% seed mix, 5% people food.

Thanks!
Terrie
