Here's a recipe I came up with for my B&G and I use it as a warm, yummy treat. I call it Yummy-Tummy Confetti-"Sketti."
Ingredients:
3 cups veggie spiral pasta
1 can tomato paste
3/4 tsp. garlic
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. dried, crumbled alfalfa leaves
Directions:
In a pot, cook pasta according to the directions on the package, and drain when fully cooked.
In a seperate pot, add tomato paste, garlic, oregano & alfalfa.
Bring sauce to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
Add drained noodles to sauce mixture & continue to let simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat, let cool & serve.
Left over Confetti Sketti can be devided into single serving packets and stored in freezer.
