my mom has about 6 zebra finches. if you are a person who dosent like a lot of noise you dont need to mind. you get use to the sound and dont even notice it. in the same room we have a cinamon cockateil and you can surly notice him. our neighbor has a zebra finch that he hand fed and it is very tame. well good luck w/ your birds.
