Your finch probably has an injured foot and needs to see the vet to diagnose and treat it. Could be a circulation problem as it was in my little zeebie. Let us know what the vet says.

:Im new to this board and also new to owning zebra finches. I have several finches in a large cage together and i am concerned with one of them. One of my finches has a black toe and seems to spend a lot of time on the bottom of the cage. She eats and drinks ok, but i wonder if her foot is hurt?
