My oh my you are busy. And I appreciate your comments, I actually stopped in the pet store today thinking I would need another cage and seperate them, but the guy there, who is very good and knowledgeable, said no not to seperate them, that he felt the female was just "over preening" the male. Since he just kinda sits there snuggled next to her most of the time. Least whenever I am home he is, she seems to be doing this either during the night and/or day while I am at work.

I will get that stuff you suggested and give that to him. Like I said, he doesn't appear to be stressed and there is no sores or blood, just his poor little head and neck are bald! It is rather funny once you get over the "oh my the poor little thing".

Thanks again and will keep you posted.

:Sorry finchfreak for not answering your one question as I've told the budgie forum I'm busy, my current collection is;

:-one cockatiel(Buddy)
:-two budgies(Chipy, and Peaches)
:-Two orange cheeked finches

:-one green treefrog
:-one firebellied toad
:-one chocolate firebellied toad
:-one firebellied newt
:-one african dwarf frog
:-and a breeding pair of guppies.

:Being only 13, having several projects and tests coming up, and taking care of all my pets with just my care...I am quite busy. But, my life is great!

:So, no pulling feathers out of the males neck is no, ritual. You should probably go to your local petstore and they usually have these cheap medication for fairly cheap. The medications will -one give your finches essential minerals and vitamins, but second it will help grow back the feathers. I actually had your exact problem when I had zebra's. The brands called VitaFlight

:Goodluck with your birds,'Please keep firing questions and we'll see what we can do!!!

:Steven:)
