Thanks for your post. As far as blacklights being harmful to Parakeets, I cannot really answer that for you. I have never heard of any problems but suggest you ask you local avian vet or the breeder of the bird for that information.
Thanks for your comments and I will let the folks who need to know that you liked the other site better. We are looking to improve and comments are needed from our members to do that. Thanks again.
