One of my black hooded nuns died today.I may not be able to obtain another one locally,so I'm wondering if a society finch might be a good alternative. Also,I am not interested in breeding, but want to ensure the second bird I introduce will be compatible.Without knowing the sex of the existing bird and the eventual new one,how can I be sure they will get along?Must you have a F and a M,or can you have same sexed birds in one cage?Any advice would be great.
