Hi Cathy - my ducks go nuts over tomato! I cut it up in very small pieces and feed it every evening as a treat. They literally fight over it. In the mornings I feed them a plate of chopped lettuce. All in addition to free-feed chicken scratch.

:I read on this site somewhere it is good to introduce the ducklings to water in a bath tub. Mine are almost 3 weeks old now and was wandering if they are old enough. Also they are eating chicken scratch, that is the closest thing I could get to waterfowl food in my area. I also have been giving them grass clippings. Is there anything else I should add to there diet. Thanks for everyones advice. Cathy
