While tearing down a shed for some friends we found a wild duck who had her nest under it rather than leave her out in the open we took her home. She had been staying in a shed but last night she left and I havent seen her since. I brought the eggs inside it was about 50 degrees and I was worried that they wouldnt hatch. They spent about 12 to 18 hours without the mother on the nest. They were very close to hatching we could hear them chirpng but since bringing them inside I havent heard anything. Will they still hatch, and if they do what then? I have them in a laundry basket, under a chandelier. I dont know what else to do for them. Any suggestions would be appreciated. My email is cathy41311@yahoo.com
