I'm interested in buying a pair of diamond doves but don't know much about them at all. If I were to get some they'd live in a large aviary with 2 nesting cockatiels, a few finches and 2 bourke parrots. Are they compatible with these breeds? I'm especially worried about them and the cockatiels not getting on!
Also, would they happily eat budgie mix and sunflower seeds or do they need something else?(fresh water, greens and shell grit always available of course)
Do diamonds nest on the ground or up high? I also own 4 small chickens in this aviary and aren't sure if they'd pose a threat to their babies.

Any other advice you think might be helpful would be appreciated and all the best for the coming new year!
