Bad! Doves are weaned at about 4 weeks and are suposed to fall out of their nest so they can learn to fly. Bread doesn't have any nutrients they need anyway. If it really is in trouble (which it shouldn't be) feed it a baby bird formula with a syringe. I would just let it be or put it in the nest. If it's wild and really needs help find a rehap for animals. Your local humane society can help you out with finding one If this is your pet bird, put him back in the cage. If he really does need food, the parents should still feed him (as lon as he hasen't been away for too long. If you have any other questions, please e-mail me or call a vet.
