My husband had a dove hatch eggs in his telephone company bucket truck (open area). Momma and babies travel with him all day. Today, he had to leave a section of our city without Mom because she left the nest and had not returned. When my husband got back to his company garage, a bird was there waiting. It could be Mom or Dad. If it is not Mom, will she be able to fly to the area where the truck is usually parked? (about 15 miles south) Would Dad take care of them if she can't find them? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Maureen
