i have a 3 year old conure, i have had him since he was weaned. i used to work out of my house and he was in my office so he was getting lots of attention all the time. about a year ago, i got a new job that keeps me out of the house all day- on top of that, we had a baby, so he went from getting lots of attention to getting less than he likes. he still gets held everyday for some little while and he gets to hang out in the kitchen with the dogs when no one is home, so there is company, but i think he misses being the king of the house. should i get him another bird? would that make him mad? he is very attached to us and i want him to continue to be good being held, but i don't want him to be lonely?
