Actually, i am more afraid of my little green cheek hurting my cat than vice versa!!! In fact, the first day I brought my cat home, he ran up to Diego's cage and the bird went down to the bottom to meet him. The cat put his paw (declawed) into the cage and my bird bit him hard. Needless to say, the cat stays away from the cage now. And I just put the cat in the cellar or the bathroom when I take Diego out.
